Webclew AI Copilot

We’re thrilled to introduce Webclew AI Copilot, your new assistant for navigating complex privacy data. You can now ask natural-language questions about your domains and mobile apps—no need to dig through raw data. With our new “star” buttons in the UI, it’s easy to trigger subject-specific queries (like identifying who set a cookie or which vendor initiated a request). Whether you're trying to unravel third-party request parameters, investigate a vendor, or trace the origin of specific data flows—Copilot has you covered.

Other Changes

  • Added support to remove Vendor table versions.
  • New device configuration options when setting up mobile audit scenarios.
  • App icons now appear across mobile scans, scenarios, and live scans.
  • You can now edit and delete comments directly on alerts.

Reports Rework

We’ve reimagined how reporting works in Webclew. The dedicated reports page is gone—instead, each table now includes built-in export capabilities, giving you contextual, targeted control over your data. Alert detail reports have also been significantly improved to provide richer, more actionable insights.

Other Changes

  • Automatically pause audits after 5 consecutive failures.
  • You can now filter cookie version tables by purpose.
  • Added the option to remove Vendor table versions.
  • View all completed or failed actions in mobile scan scenarios.

Fixes

  • Improved base64 validation to prevent unreadable characters in search parameters.
  • Performance boost when creating new cookie or vendor versions.
  • Fixed a bug that caused incomplete vendor data in organization-level tracker views.
  • When creating new versions, names, audits, and purposes are now reliably copied over to cookie/vendor tables.

Live Scanning

With our new Live Scanning capability, you can interact with your product manually—whether it's on web or mobile—while Webclew captures real-time privacy signals and data flows. Each session can be saved and tied to alert policies, helping you contextualize activity and stay proactive about privacy compliance.

Other Changes

  • Export alerts at both the Audit and Organization level.

Fixes

  • Improved HAR/PCAP upload experience.
  • Better sorting in alert reports.
  • Corrected misrepresented request details in alerts.
  • Alerts now show more relevant cookie/tracker examples.

Mobile App Audits

Our most powerful release yet: Mobile App Audits. Upload Android or iOS builds, define scan scenarios, and let Webclew automatically audit your apps. You can now inspect network requests, cookies, app permissions, and more—bringing our privacy insight engine directly to mobile environments.

Other Changes

  • You can now favorite audits for quicker access.
  • New filtering options in scan detail drawers.
  • Add/remove cookies and vendors in compare tables during versioning.
  • Extra customization available for vendor-cookie tables.

Fixes

  • Implemented infinite scrolling in scan detail drawers.
  • General performance improvements across the app.
  • Improved clarity of selected audits when working with new versions.

Vendor & Cookie Tables

Introducing Versioned Vendor & Cookie Tables—a robust way to track privacy changes over time. You can now create multiple tables per audit, compare previous vs future states, and get alerts when new vendors are detected. Tables can also be integrated directly into your cookie policy or vendor disclosure lists, with full customization and change publishing. Each cookie and vendor now links to its own privacy policy for better transparency.

Other Changes

  • Proxy network enabled for web scans to enhance detection of ad server traffic.
  • New export option for cookie and vendor observations.

Fixes

  • Improved performance of the scan results drawer.

UI Refresh

Webclew has a fresh new look. With a redesigned top-level navigation and contextual sidebars per page, getting around has never been easier. Drawer-based detail views now let you explore scans, vendors, and alerts without losing your place—plus, you can stack drawers and navigate back and forth like never before. Tables got a facelift too, with improved layouts and filtering.

Other Changes

  • Alerts by audit are now displayed on the dashboard.

We finally have visibility in online tracking and a process for handling cookie compliance risks.
